HENA 2009 Conference
March 7 - 8, 2009. Arizona State University, Memorial Union, Tempe Campus, Arizona. We are open to all and support families that homeschool. Children are welcome.

26th Annual AFHE Home School Convention & Curriculum Fair
July 17 - 18, 2009. Phoenix Convention Center, South Building. A variety of speakers and workshops for new homeschoolers and veterans alike. Workshops geared especially for teens. Come browse and shop the vast array of curricula and resource vendors.

Arizona Homeschool Law Summary
Compliance with Arizona Home School law requires filing with your county Superintendent of Schools:

  1. A notarized copy of the Affidavit of Intent to Home School Printable Affidavit in .pdf format
  2. A photocopy of the certified copy of your child's birth certificate.

Maricopa County Guidelines for Home Schools
"Home School" means a school conducted primarily by the parent, guardian or other person who has custody of the child or instruction provided in the child's home. Additional information is in the Table of Contents, not "below" as stated on the page.
